This week, Clark University Police busted an extension-cord ring operating in a dorm in JSC. They discovered that a Clark freshman named Bud Blunt had stashed dozens of extension cords under his bed, none of which had the required surge protector. Blunt was also discovered to be hiding other banned objects, including lava lamps, incense, and a microwave that was not part of a microfridge combination unit.
The student had purchased the extension cords from a supplier known as “Home Depot.” The prohibited items found had an estimated street value of $200,000.
