After the success of ClarkTube, Clark University recently unveiled plans to take their streaming services to the next level. The announcement, which was made on April 15th, said that ClarkHub, like ClarkTube, would be open to suggestions from the student body.

“Right now ClarkHub doesn’t have much content, but we’re sending out a survey so that students can vote on their top choices of specific categories and pornstars to be included,” said a University Official.

We interviewed a few students, asking about their thoughts on the new service and the survey. “This survey’s...uh...anonymous, right?,” said James Smith, Class of ‘21, who reportedly requested the categories “foot fetish” and “step-mom”.

When asked if she’d be using the new service, Marcy Chapman (‘18), responded, “This whole idea is unbelievably stupid. Why use ClarkHub when PornHub is free and has way more options? It doesn’t make any sense.”

Despite cynicism from much of the student body, Clark’s administration remains optimistic that ClarkHub will become a big hit. “We’re constantly going to be updating this; adding new features,” one administrator said. “We’re always looking for ways to get the student body involved. Students looking for an easy way to pay off their college debt can be a part of the video creation process! We’re confident that seeing people they actually know in videos would be a big hit among many Clarkies.”

At the time of writing this, Clarkies were already filming one such video, entitled “Three Teachers Fuck Sophomore at the Same Time.” In it, a Clark student was filmed struggling to complete three essays that had been assigned in the same week.

Hipster Quote of the Week:

The message at the end of “The Tortoise and the Hare” isn’t that ‘slow and steady wins the race’, but actually a well-remembered quote from the 1977 Disney classic “A New Hope”: “Great kid! Don’t get cocky”. Bullshit that the hare was gonna lose that race if he didn’t choose to stop for a nap and a snack and whatever else he did. Bullshit that the tortoise was going to catch up in any capacity if the hare didn’t slow down for him. Maybe that platitude makes sense, but definitely not in this situation.

A race is a sheer contest of speed. No other skills go into that. The tortoise and the hare aren’t making miniature wooden horses and getting judged on the craftsmanship of their products alongside their finish time; they are moving from one point to another. In no universe does slow and steady win that race. Slow and steady wins no races, except for races where the point is to go as slow as possible. Even in cases where slow and steady could be considered a possible alternative to fast, such as the aforementioned miniature-wooden-horse-making competition, someone who can do similar quality work at a much faster pace still wins that competition.

Slow and steady does not win the race. Not being too full of yourself does.."
